Sudan’s army and the rival paramilitary Rapid Support Forces have agreed to extend a fragile truce for another 72 hours. But there’s been more fighting in the capital Khartoum and other areas. Hundreds of people have been killed in the two week conflict. Thousands of Sudanese civilians are still trying to escape. Many who are unable to leave are short of vital supplies. A growing number of countries are evacuating their diplomats and nationals.
